General Managers also evaluate and make decisions about major investments in equipment and infrastructure. Their other duties include establishing production, marketing, field, and technical services and practices.

General Managers participate in the image-making of their company. This involves collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and co-workers. To advance the growing of the business, General Managers are expected to maintain and always improve their own profession knowledge. To do so, they participate in various workshops, read professional publications, and participate in professional societies.

The Numerical Reasoning Test

To help you pass your pre-employment assessment for the General Manager position, JobTestPrep compiled the comprehensive PrepPack™ that include the Numerical and Verbal Reasoning Tests supplied with answer keys and detailed study guides. The Numerical Reasoning Test measures how comfortable you feel solving numerical problems. On the test, you will be asked to analyze numerical data – facts and figures - presented in graphs, statistical tables, and diagrams. It is a multiple-choice exam: you will be given several answers to each question, only one of which is correct. The Numerical Reasoning Test has a strict time limit. You will have a less than a minute to answer each question.

The Verbal Reasoning Test

This test is a reliable evaluation of applicants’ ability to analyse written data. On the test, you will be presented with a text paragraph that you will need to peruse before evaluating a truth-value of statements made about it. There will be several statements accompanying the passage. If you think that a given statement is right, mark it as “True.” If it does not seem so, tick it off as “False.” But remember also that there are statements on the test whose truth-value will be impossible to estimate, since the given passage will not contain enough data to make judgement. In this case, choose the “Cannot Say” option. Like the Numerical Reasoning Test, this test is limited in time. You will have less than a minute to answer each question, which is challenging. Practicing before your examination with JobTestPrep’s exclusive materials will significantly improve your time record.
