So if you're applying to PowerSchool and want to increase your chances of getting hired, you'll find this guide very useful.
Let's get started.
Depending on the position for which you’re applying, you will likely need to pass the following pre-employment assessment tests.
The test used in the PowerSchool hiring process is known as the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT). This CCAT assessment is a popular pre-employment test that measures your problem-solving abilities, skill learning capabilities, and critical-thinking skills.
The test is comprised of 50 questions covering math, verbal, spatial reasoning, and logic questions, and it has a 15-minute time limit.
Watch this short video for a quick overview of the test and visit our CCAT test prep guide or the Vista exam preparation guide to get a better understanding of the exam, get practice tips, and access the full CCAT preparation course.
6. Which of the following boxes should replace the question mark (?) to complete the pattern?
Answer:
The circle in each figure is divided into 8 eighths.
In each circle within the series, the shaded segmented sections move one eighth (1/8) of the circle, counterclockwise.
Therefore, the next figure is the one appearing in answer-option B.

PowerSchool uses a personality test as part of its assessments. Personality tests are used to measure your personal and professional compatibility to the company and position for which you are applying. Furthermore, personality tests assess your approach to work scenarios, stress management, colleagues and teamwork, and the job position.
Remember that when you take an employment personality test, you want to be sure to answer every question honestly but strategically. You want to highlight your strengths and work-positive characteristics more than your weaknesses. Prepare for a personality assessment with JobTestPrep’s Pre-Employment Personality PrepPack™.
The lengthy PowerSchool hiring and recruitment process consists of the following steps:
The PowerSchool hiring process begins with an online application that is screened by the Hirebridge applicant tracking system (ATS). This applicant tracking system assesses your answers and documents for keyword-specific phrases.
Once your application is complete, you will encounter pre-employment assessment tests (outlined above). Be sure to review and prepare for these tests as passing/failing scores can be the difference in moving forward with a job offer or not.
You will encounter a variety of interviews during the PowerSchool recruitment process, some of which may include telephone, video, in-person, or panel interviews. Additionally, be sure to review and practice for all types of interviews with our Interview PrepPack™.
When thinking about good answers to these questions, keep PowerSchool's culture and values in mind. To learn more about its core values, visit PowerSchool's career page.
