About

JobTestPrep has compiled an inclusive Kenexa Prove It PrepPack™ that contains imitations of the Kenexa tests used by Randstad to assess applicants’ professionalism. Depending upon the skills relevant to the position for which you are competing, we can help you strengthen your typing, accounting, or programming proficiency. JobTestPrep’s practice materials are also modeled upon different types of the Kenexa assessment, offering you either a simulated version of the software or a list of questions if you applied for administrative or accounting positions.

Note that your evaluation of the Kenexa test at Randstad will show not only your final score but also the number of times you attempted a question and how long it took you to complete the tests. Recruiters will also receive a list of your errors. Completing the Kenexa Prove It Test without mistakes is crucial to your success. Therefore, it is advisable to practice with JobTestPrep’s resources before you take your pre-employment Kenexa assessment. Preparing with our materials will reduce your mistakes to a minimum and will help you get noticed during the hiring process.

Randstad Hiring Process

Phone Interview: After you send your resume and application form to Randstad’s Human Resources Department, you will have a phone interview with the company’s representatives. This interview usually lasts about 30 minutes and revolves around a candidate’s work history as well as the skills required for the applied position. The interviewer may also talk to you about your future role and the organization of the company. You may also be asked technical questions if you are competing for a position as a software engineer.

Randstad Assessment Tests: If you have impressed the interviewer, you will be required to pass online assessment tests, provided by Kenexa Prove It, chosen according to the skills relevant to your position. Tests for some of the roles at Randstad may take up to three hours, though the length of most of the Kenexa Assessments is about 30 to 60 minutes. The Kenexa Prove It tests are difficult, even for those who are experts in their fields.

A Face-to-Face Interview: Depending on the results of your Kenexa test, you may be invited for a face-to-face interview at one of the company’s offices. When you meet Randstad’s representatives in person, they will give you an overview of the company, its policies, your prospective job, your future duties, and possible benefits. You will also need to explain to the employers why you want to work at Randstad and why you should be hired. Provided your interview goes well, you will be asked to do a short job shadow before you hear the employer's final decision.

Kenexa Prove It Tests

JobTestPrep has created comprehensive practice materials to help you get ready for the following Kenexa Prove It exams:

Accounting Tests

These tests evaluate applicants’ knowledge of accounting terminology, types of accounts, business income tax, bookkeeping, payroll, financial analysis, MYOB, Accounting Plus, and much more. JobTestPrep has responded to applicants’ needs and designed the Prove It Accounts Payable Test, the Prove It Accounts Receivable Test, and the Prove It Bookkeeping Test.

Microsoft Office Tests

These tests assess applicants’ knowledge of Microsoft Access, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Publisher, and other Microsoft Office products. JobTestPrep invites job applicants to practice Kenexa’s most commonly taken Microsoft Office tests:

  • Microsoft Excel Test: This test checks how job candidates can open a workbook, insert a row, rename a worksheet, insert a column, change chart styles, perform a text wrap, merge and center cells, create PivotTable, do print scaling, and so on. Kenexa Prove It Excel tests are tailored for users of different levels of expertise. There are three types of Excel tests: the basic level directed at a regular user, the advanced level designed for a power user, and a test including both skill levels. JobTestPrep offers preparation solutions for all three levels.
  • Microsoft Word Test: This test evaluates how well you complete tasks in Microsoft’s Word software at various levels. This test is interactive, simulating the use of Word in the workplace. Tasks pop up at the bottom of your computer’s screen. You will need to complete each task before moving on to the next. Like the Excel test, the Word assessment is also tailored for different Word users, depending on what type of job you want to land. The basic level of Microsoft Word test is offered to regular users and comprised of 30 questions. The test’s advanced level is for power users that operate in its full capacity and consists of 25 questions. Both levels of difficulty are addressed by JobTestPrep’s practicing materials.

Typing Test

This test measures the speed and accuracy of applicants’ typing. The test presents them with a passage that they must type as accurately and quickly as they can, because they are assessed according to their average number of words per minute and adjusted words per minute. The Typing Test is timed, lasting between three to five minutes.

Data Entry Test

This test evaluates how quickly and accurately applicants can enter required data. Kenexa Prove It offers two types of Data Entry Tests. The Data Entry Alpha Numerical Test measures your speed and accuracy in entering both letters and numbers. The Data Entry 10-Key Test assesses your speed and accuracy in entering numbers alone. Your results in this test are measured by your keystrokes per hour and field accuracy percentage. JobTestPrep has valuable resources to prepare you for both kinds of Data Entry Test.

It is essential to practice before you take your official pre-employment assessment. JobTestPrep’s Kenexa PrepPack™ contains timed tests, sample questions, tips for test-taking, score reports, and detailed answer explanations. Use our valuable resources, do well on your exam, and demonstrate to your employers that you possess consummate skills in your field of expertise.

Randstad Interview

There are two interviews during the hiring process at Randstad.

Phone Screening

After you submit your online application, you will be contacted by the company’s representative via phone. Your conversation will center around your working experience and your future contribution to the company’s development. If you are applying for a software engineer position, be prepared to answer technical questions about C programming language and agile development process.

Face-to-Face Interview

If you successfully pass the Kenexa assessment, you will be invited to in-person interview in one of the company’s locations. Questions asked in the second interview will be mostly competency-based. You will also tell recruiters about your motivation to work at Randstad and elaborate on the qualities that you will bring to the company. In some case, you will also need to make a short presentation based on the case packet that will be sent to you in advance. If you applied for a position at the Call Center, you may be invited to record your phone conversation with a customer and read from a given script. Questions asked in the face-to-face interview at Randstad are listed below:

  • Why do you want to be a recruiter?
  • What do you think the most challenging part of the job will be?
  • Why do you think you will be a successful recruiter?
  • How will your current skills and experience help you in the position of a recruiter?
  • What skills did you acquire at your last workplace and how they can be used in your role as a recruiter?
  • How do you feel about working in a team for your bonus?
  • How do you handle a situation when you have miscommunicated information to customers?
  • Describe your hardest challenge in your most successful project.
  • Do you think you could handle talking on the phone constantly and multitasking in a fast-paced environment?
  • Explain how the C compiler would interpret pointers and static declarations.
  • Why did a connection start with a packet whose incorrect NATted source IP (disguised in the data) did not go through?

It is advisable to think over the aforementioned questions before you speak to Randstad’s representatives. If you prepare clearly formulated answers beforehand, you will sound assertive during your interview and will make a lasting impression on the company’s managers. Do not forget also to familiarize yourself with Randstad Holding and the organization of its business.
