Genpact Assessment Tests

The Microsoft Excel Test – The aim of this test is to estimate job applicants’ mastery of the Excel program on various levels, from basic to an advanced one. The scope of tasks included on the test is wide. Applicants may be asked to perform formatting, editing, protecting cells and rangers, and creating graphs and charts. They also need to show how well they use autofill, add and subtract values, and enter data. The Microsoft Excel Test scores job seekers’ performance in two ways: it either counts the percentage of correct answers or determines their skill level – Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced. It is an interactive test, on which applicants perform tasks on the screen. They can answer questions using the toolbars, shortcut keys, or menus, depending on a specific task they are performing.

The first question one should ask when taking a Genpact personality test is “what are they looking for?” While many erroneously believe that there are no right or wrong answers, the truth is the company is looking for the right personality for the job. Finding the right fit for any given position runs beyond technical skills, your future employer wants to know how you will fit into your work environment. This could include managing stakeholders, solving office work disputes or coping with stress and pressure among other factors and situations.

Your Genpact Interview

The Genpact’s hiring process contains several interviews and tests. The first interview that you will be invitedto, after you upload your application form on the Genpact’s website, is a phone interview. Be prepared to discuss your education and career goals with a Human Resources manager. If you successfully pass your tests, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview taking place in one of the Genpact’s locations. On this interview, you will meet with your prospective managers who will ask you competency-based questions. What they will want to ascertain is whether you possess qualities required to perform the job successfully. Practice with our interview kit and learn about behavioral strategies that you may adopt during your interview.

How Many Scenarios Can I Expect to Encounter in the Genpact SJT?

What questions do the Genpact's representatives ask in a phone interview?

After you have uploaded your résumé and cover letter onto the Genpact's website, you will have a phone interview with its Human Resources manager who will ask you questions mostly about your education, working experience, and career goals. You may also discuss the company’s business objectives, your future duties, and benefits you will be given, if you qualify for the position. If your phone interview goes well, you will receive a link to the online test that you need to pass in order to move to the next stage in the hiring process.
