NuStar Energy Assessment Tests

Like many companies from around the globe, NuStar uses various tests to filter their potential employee candidates. After conducting thorough research, JobTestPrep has concluded that the common NuStar exams are information assessment, mechanical, and personality. Below is a little more information on each one:

• Information: This test measures one’s ability to read and comprehend texts such as memos, letters, directions, signs, bulletins, and more. JobTestPrep covers an array of different formats to help you be as ready as possible for the actual exam.
• Mechanical: Mechanical aptitude tests are used to measure one’s mechanical and physical knowledge. Common questions include transformation, kinetic energy, friction, and gravity to name a few. Furthermore, you will find the questions in multiple-choice format or with diagrams.
• Personality: The purpose of personality tests is for the NuStar Energy leadership to see if you will mold well into the company. JobTestPrep’s personality tests come in different formats to help familiarize you to the actual NuStar Energy exam. For example, we cover, true and false questions, agree/disagree/neither ones, we use number scales and ask you to rate something on the least to most. • Online Resume Submission: Most past NuStar Energy candidates have applied on NuStar's main website.
• Pre-Employment Telephone Screening: Expect not one, but at two rounds of telephone interviews. The first telephone interaction likely will simply be with HR, making sure you are a good fit for the company. Next, you likely will be called back by someone in the department you are applying for.
• Face-to-Face Interview: At some point during your in-house interview, usually you are questioned by a panel of upper-management. Although this is daunting, this is actually great news for you. The more people that interview you, the more likely you will receive a balanced review.
